The Hiring Map: a two-week hiring audit

Know who to hire, what to pay and how to find them, in two weeks.

You're ready to grow your team, but the plan is still in your head. In two weeks, I turn it into a written plan your team can follow.

Now open to five founding clients at an exclusive rate.

  • 100+hires in one year as a solo recruiter
  • 95%offer acceptance, on average
  • 100%of my hires still there after 90 days
  • 390+people at the company I helped grow from under 100

Sound familiar?

Most hiring problems start before the first interview.

No clear order

Everyone wants their hire first. The loudest role wins and the important one waits.

Guessing on pay and location

You're not sure what the role should pay, or where to hire.

Interviews that change every time

Each manager does it their own way. Decisions drag, and good people drop out.

And honestly? Most people hate hiring.

It isn't your day job, but it takes over your week. Hours of CVs, interviews squeezed between real work, and feedback you never quite get round to writing.

Then there's the worry. Am I paying fairly? Is this process fair and consistent, or am I one wrong question away from a legal headache? Will this person still be here in six months, or will I be doing this all over again?

If hiring leaves you drained, second-guessing yourself and quietly dreading the next role, that isn't a you problem. It's a process problem, and it can be fixed.

Who you'll work with

Hi, I'm Ele.

For over seven years I built hiring from the inside at AnswerLab, a global research consultancy. I helped it grow from under 100 people to over 390, hiring across the EU, UK, APAC and the US.

I care about the whole journey, from a candidate's first message to the day they're settled in. The Hiring Map is how I start with any team: understand it properly, then plan it properly.

What you get

One written plan in six parts, yours to keep.

It covers up to 3 roles in one team. We go through it together on a 90-minute call.

  1. 1. Hiring plan

Which 3 roles to hire, in what order, why, and when.

  2. 2. Role packs

For each role: what good looks like, and where to find these people.

  3. 3. Pay and location guidance

Pay ranges for each role, and where to hire across the EU, UK, APAC and US.

  4. 4. Interview process

Each stage, who runs it, how long it takes and what it tests.

  5. 5. Candidate experience review

What candidates go through today, and where you lose them.

  6. 6. Quick wins

Three to five changes you can make this month, with or without me.

How it works

Ten working days. Most of your part is in week one.

About 4 hours from you, and 45 minutes from each hiring manager. I do the rest.

  1. Day 1

    Kickoff

A one-hour call about your priorities, budget and timeline.

  2. Days 2 to 5

    Discovery

I talk to up to 3 hiring managers, review what you have, and apply as a candidate. On day 5 you get a short update, so there are no surprises.

  3. Days 6 to 9

    Research and writing

I research pay and locations, then write your plan.

  4. Day 10

    Readout

We go through your plan together on a 90-minute call. It's yours to keep.

After day 10

Then you decide what happens next.

Go our separate ways

You keep the plan and run it yourselves. The quick wins get you started this month.

Keep me on

A monthly retainer. I build what the plan maps out, then run your recruiting. Sign within 30 days and half your Hiring Map fee comes off the first month.

Stay through onboarding

Add 90 days of support once your new hires start, so they settle in and stay.

The plan works without me. It just works faster with me.

Who it's for

For leaders who need to hire well, not just fast.

A good fit if you

  • Lead a team at a growing company, from Series B to public
  • Plan to hire 3 or more people in the next six months
  • Hire for research, product, design, marketing, sales, operations or similar teams
  • Don't have a recruiter, or yours has no time to plan
  • Can give each hiring manager 45 minutes

Probably not right if you

  • Have one urgent role and just need it filled
  • Are very early, with one or two hires ahead
  • Can't get time with your hiring managers

Not sure? Book a fit call and I'll tell you honestly.
